I love a bath and try to have one at least a week (I shower every day in case you were thinking..eurghh!). There is just something soothing about laying back in warm water and giving your skin a good soak. If you find that your week is too busy with the joy that is life, put aside 30 minutes once a week to enjoy a soak in the tube. Bring along books/magazines if needed too. I do then shower everything off as the bath is draining and I feel absolutely squeaky clean! Add a skin scrub to this event and you are clean, warm and shiny! Tell me more Diva…

Garlic Spot Removal
Not only for repelling Vampires, garlic can be used to repel spots! Garlic is the best antiseptic and antimicrobal substance that removes spots quickly. It fits both the oily and the acne skincare. The applied area will sting or awhile, but after thirty minutes the effect will be shown. The garlic treats the pimples and nourishes the skin with vitamin B group (like B6), vitamin C and potassium. Lip Balm
This is a natural way to moisten the lips with no chemicals or additives. I recently purchased a large block of beeswax from Amazon for my natural needs, but if anyone knows where I can buy this in Dubai, please let me know!! This lip balm has the husband seal of approval. He has dry lips and knows his way around a decent lip balm better than I know my way round a shoe shop! Tell me more Diva…

Avocado Carrot Cream Mask
An excellent face mask full of vitamins E, beta caroten, antioxidants, calcuim and protein which help rebuild skin collagen, fade age spots and improve the texture and tone of the skin. Would probably be tasty on a slice of my savoury wraps….but this recipe is for the outside of the body, not inside. Another example of how the kitchen stocks great natural beauty products and you do not need to spend a lot of money on synthetic products. Keep it natural!
INGREDIENTS
1 avocado, mashed
1 carrot, cooked and mashed
1/2 cup double cream
1 egg, beaten
3 tbslpn honey
PREPARATION
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
- Spread over your face and neck and leave for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse with tepid water and finish with your toner.
- Enjoy your soft skin!
