Halloumi Burgers
These yummy veggie burgers are based on the delicious ones I have enjoyed at a stall in London Borough market called The Veggie Table. If you are in London or visiting, I implore you to visit this wonderful food market and head off to this stall as their food is just superb. These burgers are just so good, that they could convert a meat eater….well, almost I guess…. Yummy, tell me more Diva…
Chocolate Biscuit Truffles
This recipe was inspired by a truffle making class I took which introduced me to the joy of adding biscuits to your truffles. However, I used a packet of gluten free biscuits for this recipe as I did not have any homemade to hand. I used a packet of Doves Farm Lemon Zest cookies which were delicious! Lemon Ricotta and Blueberry Parfait
This is a deliciously light dessert made from Ricotta cheese. By the time it has been whipped up and flavoured it tastes more like a dish made out of cream rather than a soft cheese. The berries go well with the lemon too. The chief tasters verdict is that it was very light and refeshing. Not a drop was left either! Yummy, tell me more Diva…
Herb and Almond Crusted Baked Fish
This is an alternative to a breaded crust fish dish, therefore keeping it gluten free, and low in carbs! The chief taster enjoyed this and declared it light and zesty. Instead of using lemon, I used a lemon thyme which gave the dish the zesty taste without any of the citrus. It was easy to make too, my favourite type of dish! Read the rest of this entry
Hot Cross Truffles
This are simply spiced, fruity truffles with a cross on as an excuse to give this dish an Easter theme! A nice alternative to Easter eggs……..who am I kidding, it’s chocolate therefore is delicious! Yummy, tell me more Diva…
